From the valley to the summit
In summer, the three cable cars in the villages of Dorfgastein, Bad Hofgastein and Bad Gastein are in operation. You could also call them the adventure mountains. The generous family offer on the Schlossalm with its popular children’s playground, via ferrata, the Schlossalmsee and guided scooter tours is a special experience. And the Stubnerkogel with its famous suspension bridge is an unforgettable adventure for every Gastein vacationer.
Thermal water bathing lake
In the summer months, the thermal water bathing lakes, which are directly connected to the Alpentherme in Bad Hofgastein, are steaming. There is a lot on offer for families, especially in the Family World of the Alpentherme. And adults can also enjoy the sauna and thermal world of the spa.
On the road on bikes
Along the Ache from Dorfgastein to Bad Gastein there is a cycle path as well as the Achenpromenade. Mountain bikers can also enjoy alpine mountain bike trails with guaranteed panoramic views. Guided bike tours are also part of the program in the Gastein Valley. And mountain e-bikes are available for hire in our sports stores. Art and culture
